2014 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 33,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 12 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  1. Congrats on a great year of blogging!

I live nearby in Warwick, and actually work here at WordPress.com. Just wanted to say that I really enjoy your blog — looking forward to seeing more fireworks this time next year 😉

    • Thank you Paul!!!!

You really live nearby? If you at some point would like to visit my farm just let me know!

So cool that you work for WordPress! I love the platform so much!!!! I also appreciate the occasional technical support. I just hope I don’t run out if gb space with all my pics. Is there a way to increase that?

Again, feel free to come visit the farm down the road.

      • Yup! I work most days from my home office in Warwick, when I’m not running around Manhattan (our company is completely distributed — 300 people, spread all over the globe, working from wherever they happen to be at the time).

It looks like you’ve only used about 30% of your storage so you’ve probably got enough to last you a long time, but if you need more we do have upgrades available: http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

And thank you for the invite to visit the farm! The kids (and really, me too!) would love that — perhaps once it warms up a bit 😉

  2. That would be fantastic! Once we finish planting, by mid May or so into June is a great time to check things out! Feel free to e-mail me or contact me whenever you and the family would like to visit the farm!!!
